google maps into zumo 550

I find Garmin Roadtrip quite fiddly to use on my Macbook as the mouse is configured in a way different to conventional ones. I also think the map imaging of RoadTrip is poorer than GMaps.

Having planned a future trip to Frnce incl routing and all into My Gmaps account, is there a way to send it to Garmin 550?

Apologies if the question has been asked before - a search in this forum did not pick it up...

This link allegedly will provide you with the means to do it and claims to have been tested on a Mac, albeit with Firefox rather than Safari. I've not tried it myself so no idea if it does work!
