Needed to scrub them in for 100kms or so, and as I hadn't posted enough sunny photos of the area, thought I'd nip along the coast this time
Just below the village, new Anakee 2's glistening in the abundant sunshine..
Nearly 5 minutes further up the road, past the very expensive Terre-Blanche luxury golf resort, this is the little road up to Bagnols en Foret, which has been recently resurfaced, and they made a damn good job of it.
Looking up the other way, towards Bagnols...
From Bagnols, turned off onto the D47 which runs over past the Gorges du Blavet
This is looking over to Bagnols with vines in the field, and the wine cooperative in front of the village
5 minutes later we're up past the Gorges, with views all the way to the Med from here.
Scenery on the south side is typical round here, red rocks and cork trees
Bit of a slog through Puget sur Argens, which is a commercial centre, full of mad shoppers then onto the coast road via Saint Raphael to Cannes. Something nice about bikes and palm trees
From St Raphael, it's mostly a lovely run along the Corniche d'Or through the Esterel
Nice quiet place to live, apart from all the tourists who take photies of yer hoose
A rare photo of a lovely piece of road, with NO bike in the pic
Slightly underexposed shot looking over Theoule sur Mer, to see if the snow covered Alps would be visible above Cannes....not really
Carpark above Theoule which is always a good spot for a look about
Not many people on the beach either though it was around 6:30pm by the time I got here. We often take the kids down here in the evenings and have a picnic on the beach when all the tourists have gone for the day.
Heading out of the little port in Theoule sur Mer (from the beach in the last photie), and back to the main road.
From Theoule, headed back up to the RN7, then back home via Les Adrets. The RN7 was quiet too
Just crossed the bridge across Lac de St Cassien, so about 5 minutes to home and a well earned glass of red.
Bon weekend all....might have a day off the bike tomorrow

They're closing the road to our place Sunday as there's the Cannes triathalon, so might have a day off
