Got mine on Wednesday - what do I make first.................

Think I'll have a set of those bar ends mark, my s1000r is great apart from pins and needle hands after 20 minutes!! Longer rides just aren't good. Hopefully they will take some buzz out the mirrors too so they become slightly useful! never had this on the RR. Weird.

ok geezer, thanks, let me know how you get on eh?

Hi Mark, could you do anything with the clutch acctuating arm? I am sure if it was 10mm-15mm longer it would make for a lot lighter clutch pull.I am thinking about buying the bike but this is putting me off. what is your thoughts? Cheers Allan.

I`m kinda stuck on that fella sorry, would go along with what telbenj is saying.

I have small hands but never found the pull to be an issue, the only grip I had was the lever span and even the £320 hp levers didn't help.

I do find the OEM levers a little `farm-like` (can`t spell agricultural) but I ALSO found that the hugely expensive HP levers didn`t help as much as I would have hoped, like Dingers.

fanks pal

Mark just a thought, after trying the bar ends on my bike, and it improved the vibe at a certain revs but the vibe moved to the levers.
I was wondering if you made the ally spacer which inserts in the hand guard out of steel and a couple of mm thicker if that would be an answer for my bike.

What you reckon cheers Terry

Mmmmm not sure about that fella - what I think has happened is that my bar ends have simply stopped the resonance of the bars however there seems to be, on your bike, some further resonance at the levers - not sure it's a good idea or will work to chase the resonance around your bike but I'm happy to give it a go. As I'm not sure of the success there won't be any charge apart from any incurred costs like postage geezer

I had the first full day on mine yesterday after fitting your bar ends. There were ZERO vibrations in the levers, mirrors or handguards, at all revs. Whatever you've done, these are spot on mate.:thumb

But, I understand that no two bikes are the same, so they may not solve everyone's problems.

Pleased the bar ends worked for you Nuts and I think you are right - the success of them is variable

Telbenj - couldn't send this via PM (fekk knows why)........

Hi geezer, am abroad on holiday at the moment but am back in the new year - email me on [email protected] with your suggestion of what you want (coz my memory is truly shite since I took up red wine for a hobby) and when I get back I will make you something to try. If it works you owe me wine (one day) and a review on the forum but if it doesn't then no worries - at least we've tried! You can dosh me up on [email protected] for a fiver to cover postage but put on the notes that it's just to cover postage for an experiment otherwise I will get confused :)

But don't send any dosh until I've seen if I can make something that will work! If I think it's a pants idea then I will let you know and you can keep ya dosh in ya sky rocket
