You all read threads and if you do you know that my bike went in to Bahnstormers for a few bits and bobs and came out with.
New wheel bearings.
New Chain
New sprockets.
My ride home was punctuated by 2 things I noticed:
1. -2 deg c is cold enough for heated grips to have almost not a lot of effect.
2. How much smoooother the ride is when the bearings and chain and sprocket are not kernackered.
Im always quick to jump up and down and fly off the handle when things are not going my way or if I think im being treated less than fairly.
I very rarely comment when something has gone RIGHT , but this time I am doing so. Bahnstormers did admit there might be a problem with my wheel bearings/chain/sprocket especially as they were replaced only 1000 miles ago.
They replaced stuff they perhaps didnt have to. and for that a massive and well deserved thumbs up. Cheers Bahnstormer. Not so bothered about my tax disc going missing from my top box (YES it was definitely there , Dont think I;m losing my marbles yet)as it was cured by a 20 mile detour and another 20 mile ride home and the princely sum of £7 for a duplicate tax disc...........
Once again Ta BS im well chuffed its back with me and appears to be running extremely well again.....
Long may it continue...

Haven't checked since so no doubt its that. Anyway im going to get a nice bill tomorrow for a new tyre and hopefully walk away all happy. Mufffs great idea. I own a pair from my old SV 650 touring set, never used and dont really find them safe. If weather continues ill have my dad fit them at the weekend.
Apart from that, Mark if your going to head down to loomies bud, let me know and ill come down as well as others no doubt!
