have you got a seperate socket of have you wired it into the loom

straight from the battery with an in-line fuse

Had Mr BMW fit an extra socket on the dash (cost £45 ). BMW type plug that came with mounting kit from GPS warehouse was not making a good connection so swapped for anther plug which seems ok so far.
