tech day

top bannana Dutchman!!
Thanks from Sherpa (rhs) Swooper (middle) and Rod (lhs) for making the effort to organise. We had a good run back to yorkshire - if a little blustery. Lets all thank Garmin for their efforts to send a tech rep. after all 25+ people with SPC III 's is only £25,000 pounds in their coffers isn't it - so heres a BIG thanks for nothing from me!!!
See you all around
Sherpa;)

GPS Trip

Good weekend all round!

496 miles for me round trip.

Average speed 48 mph which included Sun, wind, rain, mud, snow, sleet A roads, B roads and closed roads!!

Have I missed anything?

Who is that tall guy on the centre bike? I thought he was much shorter than Sherpa?

Notice how much lower the mandarin one is, this proves that a combination of short legs and a lard arse allow a GS to be ridden (not well, but ridden!).

Hi Chris,
Thanks from us South Wales GS'ers for the coffee, soup and info. We had a great if rather wet day out with Dave on Sunday. Got up to Loch Lomond and Glencoe.

VERY wet ride back across the lakes on Monday, but amazingly, just for a change as we approached Wales the weather improved, and we even saw the sun for a few minutes.

Way cool guard!!
I think it is the mass of the rider that affects the saddle to floor height I experience it whenever I ride it!
Black is good but "mandarin is faster" - SCURRELL!!!

Many thanks indeed

Many thanks for the knowledge transfer on Sunday, the route you programmed got me back perfectly to Stockport. I need to spend some time putting in my own routes now.

Didn't need the foot covers yesterday when I picked up my new HArley as the weather "Darn Sarf" was splendid although when I arrievd back in Aberdeen tonight its windy, raining and 3 degrees...!! BAck to reality.

Many Thanks again.
