OK boys n girls have you heard of this one?
I'm ready to lash out on a StreetPilot III but seem to recall talk on this one, or something similar. Any thoughts/comments. Best now do a UKGSer search I suppose:(

And price of StreetPilots will no doubt tumble minutes after I've bought one

Regards

Tim

Ned,

I bought a 60c a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it, the 60cs as far as I know differs only in having a compass, (will give you a true heading even when not moving).

I had a sp111 for a while and bitching betty use to get on me t*ts (did,nt have to listen though) so I dont miss
the lack of voice navigation, It also seemed a bike lump on the bike,
the redraw speed and route recalculation is much faster on the 60c from wot I remember of the sp111, and is quit a bit smaller,

It seems to do wot I need from a gps and more, so suits me, only draw back at the moment is there is,nt a ram mount available yet..........

Mount

touratech show a mount in the new catalogue.

Just add Ram arm for flexibility.

cheers

Gerry, are you happy with the routing guidance provided by the 60? Would like to hear from you about that, I have not had a chance to see a 60 before and I am quite curious about it.

60c

Paid just over £380 for mine from gps warehouse, Garmin do a auto pack which is bloody expensive at over £200 quid, this includes the software......
So if you had to buy that as well it makes the price of a sp111 delux cheap ........
Maby pick some software up of e-bay though.......

All that said though, between the two I prefer the 60c :)

I dont personally have a 60, just posting info.

I have the 2610, recently purchased to replace GPS V.

Not tried 2610 on bike yet, waiting for new 1200 on 25 Mar.

Brother in law has just bought a 2610 can I use his cd software as I believe you can use it on two GPS units. I know its cheating but if its possible the 60 seems like a good deal with enough memory to do what I want.

Yeh I think you,ll just need another unlock code, but it,ll only work with your gps,
each unlock is specific to unit serial number. :)
