is it just me or can anyone else order more than one RAM componant from gps warehouse?

i go to main page then RAM Mounts at the top in the black stripe:

http://www.gpsw.co.uk/about/page25.html?OrdIDEnc=7d75af6ef6ff2dd3

then Ball Joints

http://www.gpsw.co.uk/altprods.html?ProdID=1985

i put something in my cart, then click on continue shopping, back to the RAM mounts page where my purchase is shown at the top of the page.

then i click on Arms

http://www.gpsw.co.uk/altprods.html?ProdID=1986

and my cart is empty again. i can buy stuff from main part of the site 'til the cows come home, but not the frigging RAM section.

wot's the problem before i shop elswhere?

And again! I had the same issue last week, couldn't put more than one thing in my 'cart', so I just phoned the order through, the whole lot still arrived registered post the next day, no problems. :D
BLL

edit: I only tried once, gave up immediately - attention span of a gnat!

this is the second time i've tried. first time, about 15 minutes when i tried to buy a 2610 & RAM bits. they very nearly lost the deal because of it.

i phoned them in the end, when i mentioned the trouble with the site, they pretty much ignored my problems but reluctantly took my order over the phone. i got the impression they thought i was just computer illiterate.

this time i reckon i again spent about 15 minutes on it 'cos i thought it might be just my pc set up. neither internet exploder or opera will make it work.

i was just about spitting feathers by the time i finished :banghead:

i wonde how long it's been like that

That sounds very much like you spoke to the owner, who is quite probably the grumpiest & rudest guy I've ever had to deal with. "Customer Service" is not a word he seems to know.

Steve & the rest of the team there, however, are excellent.

If you're after RAM parts, I'd always state that at the start and ask for Steve..............

not grumpy or rude, just treated me as if i was the one with the problem when it was their poxy web site that was borked.

I mentioned it on the phone as I said, and added this to am email he posted.

Not quite sure if they appreciate how frustrating it is.
Or whether they consider us to be just a little............. well.......... dim.

Either way, if you want anything from the ram section, just call, rather than getting wound up.

hey ho

I don't know about anyone else, but I got e-mails from Steve AND Adrian (the owner of GPSW & Ram UK) last night and we had a bit of a dialouge.

I incorrectly said a member of his staff is the owner :blush (someone gave me duff info)

Anyway, without repeating what was said, suffice it to say that Adrian if very keen to make the process easier and has made a point to say he's aware of the issues and is trying to make it easier for anyone trying to buy.

If in doubt about what you want in the meantime, call Steve :D (ooh, he'll sooo thank me for that one)
