Location
The Hague, Holland
taken from our trip from Harwich (Holland) to Devon. Can be adapted to own needs.

Day 1 Harwich to Bledington. We stayed at the Kings Heads which is a Good Pub guide award winning pub. Great character and location. Something a bit unique for us Continental travelers. https://www.thekingsheadinn.net/

Day 2 - Bledington to Milton Combe, Devon. Overnight stay and next 2 days base is the Who'd have Thought it Inn in the tiny village of Milton Combe. I used to visit this place many years ago when I was a student at Plymouth Uni. Has changed a bit and now offers 3 rooms. Great food and beer. https://whodhavethoughtitdevon.co.uk/

Day 3 - The Devon Tour. a Great round trip tour of south Devon and Dartmoor. A lunch stop in Cremyll is worthwhile.

Day 4 Milton Combe to Hawkley. Another great pub found for the home trip. The Hawkley inn, Nr Petersfield. Another free house with great food & fare! Rooms were also very comfortable. https://hawkleyinn.co.uk/

Day 5 Hawkley to Harwich, and the ferry back to NL.

I'd hazard a guess that you kow this country a lot better than most of us. Re the SW, with Cremyll and Milton Combe you're really into the depths of local. Impressive.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, that area I used to frequent when I was a student at the then Plymouth Poly, many moons ago. The Who'd Have Thought It was a spit and sawdust place then with great beer. Now it has rooms and food and still good beer! We also like riding in UK
