Grampian Motorcycle Convention This Sunday

Oh dear... that bad was it:(

Nah, a bit of glass, some filler and she'll be fine:thumb2

(unlike the two Bavarias that left the boatyard on a truck this week...one was an insurance write off after hitting a rock. They are really light weight boats and do not crash at all well...
BTW - some bloke up in Skye bought the wreck....hope he got it cheap)

Watch out for the sneakiest cameras in Scotland. Got my first ever points coming back from the Alford Bike Rally years ago. About ten of us in a row and no-one even saw the camera :hide

Sneakiest camera, Sneakiest camera, they bring out just about every mobile camera they have ever owned, a couple of years ago they were pleased to announce that they have six cameras out and around the region.

Strange they pick the Convention weekend

Watch out, out there "you have been warned"

NAH !
do what I did make it come second - PUT IT IN THE TOP BOX! mines loved it.
Travelled all over with her .

She's too big for that now, and anyway, I'd have to put some air holes in...

...I'm not mutilating my £65 Vario topbox for any puppy! And besides, as it's a Vario topbox, it might fall off. Too risky.

Other than the parking issues (i.e there appeared to be a lack of proper stewarding in the 'offical' bike parking area and inconsiderate barstewards parking without consideration for anyone else) the day was quite good.

The Purple Helmets were entertaining, the Trials riders were impressive, the supermoto racing was good and the Moped Marathon (or should that be mayhem...) was excellent as ever.

The weather was good and the ground was drying out nicely considering the amount of rain that fell on Thursday / Friday.

Apart from the parking fiasco I thought it was very good:thumb It fell away a bit in recent years but it looks like its on its way back, bet there's more trade stands next year:augie Hammered by a speed trap on the Alford to Banchory road, luckely they were 'interviewing' another client and just pointed at me to slow down:D

Far aboot?? I left Alford with friends on a wee bimble to Braemar just before 3pm, and never saw any polis....but we did turn toward Aboyne at Lumphanan.
