Green lane rideout circa 100 miles

Been a bit busy with going here and there since retirement 😂so, dates available are any day you like now 😂
This week next week then I’m confined to barracks for 3 weeks while she’s off to do Route 66 with 2 girlies all on bikes ….
So next 2 weeks or from the middle of October onwards any days you like let’s get some days dates together
Who wants to start?
I will ride this before the day but I’m confident it will be suitable for all you airhead special owners … no road orientated bikes unless you are very confident and comfortable off roading.
I’ll be on my Husky 701Enduro …..
What about WR250 owners who are desperately nervous off road riding?

I'm keen to come along, sounds like great day, Thanks for the opportunity- I'll keep eyes on this for a confirmed date - hopefully fit in with work.

I'd be up for this. Another WR250 so would need somewhere to park a trailer. :)

Come on, where are all you airhead special boys?
Hi Martin
I'm defo up for this, but it depends on dates. I'm pretty jammed until the end of October. I'm happy to get an airhead special out then. Tufty might even have his back from Mikeyboy by then.

Why not start a new thread to gain more traction. You really need to put some dates in to give people a goal to plan to.

Like Tetley says, I may have my bike back with a saddle on it by then.

I’m all done,have been for 3weeks,down to you now😆

Martin, do you think I could manage your touted on the X Country, or is it for more accomplished riders? Remember I couldn't keep up with you on the road up to Elan Valley / Rhayader.

I was kind of hoping you boys could throw some dates around amongst you and come up with dates suitable for 4-5 riders …. I can ride this any day now being “retired “ so I’m easy .
As I’ve said before I can do this ride multiple times to cater for everyone.
How about if we pick a day for say new nervous riders I can reduce the ride length to suit ability and amount of time left . Then have a separate day for the more experienced amongst you ?
Thoughts ?

At the moment yes you could , after lots of rain it gets slippery as hell and knobblies would be best to keep momentum up . IMG_6088.jpegIMG_6088.jpeg

I’ve no idea why I’ve got 2 pictures in there but it was pretty wet when Lee came down as you can see, he was on 50/50 trail/road tyres and did struggle to stay on and keep going 😂
I have my finger on the pulse so can advise if it’s too wet before you travel down .
I’ve got till next Wed to fit a ride in before the Mrs heads off so it’s possible .
Who’s available tocome Tuesday next week then for say a novice ride ?

I might be up for it,date depending,
Poss overnight accommodation available as well as my boat is moored at popes corner now,
That’s about 1/2 hour from your gaff?
Correct 10 minutes from Earith where you had your boat before 👍
