Just come back from a ride after fitting a set of 'Grip Puppies'.

Saw a guy had them fitted to his 2010 GS and thought 'Mmmm like those'. So I bought some from this site. (Only took two days to arrive - good one.)

After the initial 'Oh my God - these feel wierd!' I found that they really make a difference. They increase the diameter of the grips - obviously, but also reduce the vibration and I think they change the experience for the better. :bounce1

They only took about twenty minutes to fit over the existing grips - easy.

Even switched on the heat and it flowed though the grips no problems.

Certainly recommend them. Now I'm looking forward to a long distance test. Switzerland beckons in September.

I've used a set on my 800 and now on my 1200 and they are the single best thing I've put on any bike in terms of transforming the comfort. Rode >1000 miles in a day on the 800 with them and no problems with numb or painful hands at all.

They can be a bit of a pain to get hold of (there's been a few threads detailing this recently so I won't expand here), but it's worth the wait :thumb

Ordered some on Wednesday, arrived Friday from Sportouring, Blo*** good service in my book, just need to find time to fit them now.

I think I need Gripping Puppies: After 6 years on the 1200 the thing that annoys me most is that the throttle seems to slip through my hand and I need to constantly adjust and reposition me hand to maintain the same speed.

PS: There is no doubt about the fortitude of my right hand :tosser

Alternatively try the Cramp Buster from Scott Oiler....

I've one you can have if you want to try.....

Just fitted mine last week and find them brilliant. Ordered over the net from Sportouring and arrived within 2 days. Get them, you will not be disappointed.:thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb

Had a pair for about a year and I think they make life a lot easier. Like a lot of mods we GSers make you're left trying to remember what the bike felt like previously. Guess we all need two bikes, one standard and one with mods so we can test things scientifically?

Got myself a pair as a result of what I've read about them on here, they arrived this morning, I haven't fitted them yet but I hope they're as good as people say because at £15.48 including delivery at present I feel like I've just been mugged for 15 quid, yet again I have contributed to making someone else their first million by buying something worth about fifty pence for 12 quid + p&p.
