Hi there folks, looking for some advice,
Just replaced my rear crank seal and decided to remove clean and lubricate the clutch arm behind the swingarm,
All went well till I tried to refit said arm,
Just wondered if anyone has re fitted this thing , do you have any advice or tricks to get the dam thing back in

Is it on the bike or on the bench ??

basically Back the screw right out but make sure it cannot fall out

Push the arm in against the spring pressure and fit the pivot bolt

Screw it in and tighten the bolt / Nut on the pivot fit the cable and then fit the cable and adjust to 12 and a half mm at the bar adjuster

The tighten the adjuster screw but leave about 1.5 to 2mm clearance between the pushrod going solid and backing off this will be your able free play later

MAKE Sure and nip up that nut before you move away from it !!!!

Yes it's fine , it's tha arm that the cable goes on , it hat a little needle bearing with an 8mm bolt behind the swingarm, got it out but it's an absolute bugger to get back on , think it must be fitted before the swingarm is fitted

The pivot bolt , it's a pain to get started , I've removed the adjustment bolt and fitted a long bolt to use as a handle to guide into position, I'll let you know how I get on

Just for anyone who tries to do this, I removed the adjustment bolt and fitted a long piece of 8mm threaded bar use the bar to guide the leaver into position, start the bolt with your fingers, I had a long 1/4 drive ratchet that went under the swingarm which an extension and socket dropped onto the ratchet from the top of the swingarm, then tighten , shock absorber removed, and plenty grease to hold washers and bolt in place while fitted the leaver,🤔 !O and a great deal of patience required 😅
