GS 1150 Adventure service ????

My local BMW dealer just told me that as well as the 6000 mile service £114 + vat, I also need to have done the annual service at a cost of £104 +vat, and the diffrent is they only change the brake fluid on the annual service, is this ture?????????????

Not wishing to sound a bit dense like but if the only difference is the brake fluid change why can't they just add that element on to the 6K service?
 
as i understood it if you had the 6k service or any service in the 12 month period you did'nt have to have the annual service .
and would just get the fluids change in the 6k .

i am sure somone will tell me otherwise but if its not the case that is definatley taking the piss!!

The std 6000 mile service takes about 2.25 hours.
When you add the Annual service to this it puts the labour time up to 4.25 hours.
Both services are a little differnt and I am sure you can get a check list online for both to compare.
Changing B/F is not a simple job in a dealers as it has to be flushed with the Moditec, you can just change the fluid inthe reseviour but this will not do the whole system, and the new B/F will be contaminated by the old stuff.
