I have a 911 and a twinmax to do the throttle balancing, I have a question about parking the stepper motors.

Do you park with the engine off and unplug them?

Does the 911 hold them parked when adjusting?

I'm ok doing the balancing part, just the interaction of the 911 confuses me.

Yes, I know you can do it without a 911 and yes, I know you can make a throttle balancer out of plastic pipe and ATF fluid. I'm just wanting to do it with the GS-911. Thanks.

Roger.

There's an option in the GS911 software that takes you through the whole process. It tells you what to do and when. I found it pretty comprehensive.

Unless I'm missing something???

Follow the on screen instructions - motor off ignition on to set the motors for idle.

To balance under load - engine runnning and above 80 degrees, hit kill switch turn engine off, re-arm kill switch turn off/isolate the stepper motors by pressing the button on the diagnostic screen, start engine and balance.

Must be fun using a one sided temperamental twin max to balance a 1200 without it getting too hot.

Thanks....

Didn't realise the 911 takes you through the whole thing:blast

Heat, well, I've laid my hands on a 24" fan:augie

Thanks guys,

Roger O.
