Gs-911 and tablet PC

Does anyone use a tablet PC with their GS-911? I'm referring to accessing the PC functionality not the ipad emergency functionality.

Reason for asking is I'm looking for smallest format device I can with full size usb, decent battery and reasonable HD.

I was looking at this and was planning on a lightweight windows laptop, just an Assus thing from PC world for about £175. I have one already but it's only 1gb ram so won't run the Hexcode app (although I haven't tried coz it's now so slow as to be unusable online).

Many thanks, that's precisely the model I was thinking about although in the shop they had tablet format windows PCs.

I noticed the HD is only 32gb I assume it uses cloud apps. I haven't kept up with the architecture, that just sounds far too small for the app and maybe some email and mapping tools.

I use a sony vaio with 4gb of ram win7 home, its a net book with no dvd but has all other functions and works fine, I think as long as you go for something the that can run full windows you`ll get all the functions of the pc based hex prog. ps its only the 11" screen model and doesn't take up too much room.

Anythin running full windows should get you all the functionality. though i must admit i avnt tried it myself. What about something like this...

I use mac kit but don't want parallels so thought about a 10 inch like this ..

It won't do any processing apart from the gs911 and some manuals and maps. It will live in the bike.
