GS ADV Front screen removal

Hi,

Just ordered a new front screen from Nippy and was wanting to check on how to remove the screen plastic adjusters. Is it just a case of holding the knob with grips and taking the bell nut off with a spanner. Just thought i would check before breaking somenthing else

Just had a look at your posts, you must have been away with Mr Shovlin in Europe

Wouldn't suggest you use grips on the knurled knob just grip with your hand and unwind then release domed nut with small socket or spanner. Front screws in screen need to be removed but make sure you get behind the nut to catch as they have a tendency to drop into the abyss!
