GS Exclusive trade in value

if you ride with a pillion a lot not a lot of point getting the multi as i reckon you wont be able to use the performance of the ducati without upsetting the pillion. The ducati really is an upright sports bike.

I had that problem with the XR when it was first launched ,I think I'm looking for something that doesn't exist.

It does and you already have it..............:beerjug:

You no what you're probably right,I've tried a few bikes but keep coming back to the GS.Im still looking forward to trying the multi I've always fancied a Ducati

Why not try the 1250GS?

if he has had an xr i doubt the 1250 will impress much tbh,the 1250 is a good bike but not good enough esp with regards current trade in prices into bmw dealers and lack of private sale buyers at that price point.

I called in at AJ's last week and they had six 17plate Exclusive's can't imagine they would want 7,might be worth a try at another dealer I guess. No deal to be had on the multi according to the dealer with or without a px

That sounds like Ducati Leeds, no deal to be done, perfect cue to shop around. Ive tried selling newish bikes back to AJ before and they don’t want to know, I guess they prefer the Ducati dealer to give you the good news about the kick in the nuts.:D

I am going to say 11K based on the Ducati being full money

Now as a balance to change could be a whole different ball game as i reckon Ducati are desperate to get bods off BMW so it depends how you present the figures on the invoice

Exactly. Don’t get hung up on what they offer you for your p/ex, it’s the final balance that count’s. On a recent swap my p/ex was nothing to write home about but they heavily discounted the new bike so the final balance was more than ok.

Was offered £10500 for my low mile 67 plate GSA , so £9500 to £10000/from a BMW is realistic. In the end I sold it for £12500 to an independent chap who sold it for £12995

I never owned an XR , I couldn't get on with it even after 2 lengthy test rides.

The BMW dealer is just round the corner from the Ducati dealer so that might happen if I don't get on with the Multi.

If you don’t get on with the Multi, also take out the KTM 1290S, before getting another GS, as you’ve got the best of all worlds on that :hide :P

Me and the wife went out on the Multi today for a 5 hour ride and we really liked it ,so the answer I know everyone is waiting for is how much did the offer me for my GS? £10,000 against the 1260s Multi,so I'm sleeping on it and a deal may be done tomorrow.I did contact Williams at Manchester as someone suggested earlier they offered me £9000 ,I paid £14700 in March 17! Its becoming an expensive hobby this biking business.

Not really. £4700 over 27 months isn’t an expensive hobby. I know people that spend A LOT more than that hitting a ball with a stick every weekend. ;)
