Have you tried a 1250 ? Quite different to the 1200 . Love mine and I thought I was done with GS’s . Great bike, it’s replaced my T Max as my everyday go to work and play bike . Fast and involving. Sleep on the multi then try a 1250 before you buy the Ducati

Not really. £4700 over 27 months isn’t an expensive hobby. I know people that spend A LOT more than that hitting a ball with a stick every weekend.

Insurance, fuel, tyres, service.....£6k total? I'd say that was an expensive hobby.

Your right It's the cost of a good holiday,and it's over in a couple of weeks.Ill keep doing it while I can afford to,it will all stop when I retire.

I thought I'd take your advice and try a 1250 before I ordered the MS,managed to get a Rallye TE demo For a few days.Ive bottled it and ordered the 1250 it's just so much better for 2 up riding,Iwas trying to convince myself otherwise.I thought I wanted the exclusive but having the Rallye for a few days the HP colours are fab in the flesh so it's ordered.Gold wheels at my age ,can't believe it plus not had spoked wheels since my DT175 in 1979.

if you ride with a pillion a lot not a lot of point getting the multi as i reckon you wont be able to use the performance of the ducati without upsetting the pillion.The ducati really is an upright sports bike.

Sweet

The 1250 is such a sweet drivetrain. It leaves me with a stupid grin each time I ride mine and I am still running in.....

I use a flick of clutch for 1-2 and 2-3 if around town as it’s so much smoother for the passenger. I too loved the Rallye colours but you can’t have it with Alloys so I went for the GSTE Exclusive.
Yes the MS and XR are faster but neither in the same league 2 up.

A chum has a 1200 Rallye with alloys.

However, I have an idea the dealer (Cooper Tunbridge W) may have done the swap with a stock bike.

mm tbh those were my thoughts after testing the ducati
