Mate a mine just rang to say theres a recall on GS,s, somat to do with brakes. Ive not heard anything. Anyone know any more

Hi Glyno,
yes there has been a recall for the replacement of a brake pipe under the tank some where mines a 57 gsa and is booked in in a couple of weeks there is another thread somewhere on here in more detail about it

07 recall thingy this week
Not had a recall however my 08GSA has an outstanding "quality enhancement"

Got the recall during the week from my BMW dealer. 07 GSA.

Had my brake line recall done yesterday, 07 GSA there was an 09 GSA in at the same time. Also recall to check tank mounting bolts..
Talked to the service guy he said it was pretty much all GS/GSA`s and K1200s . Took about 55 minutes.

2007 RT done by Cotswold, Gloucester, last week; my GSA, delivered June 2009 not in the list to be done, so I guess as you say, it was sorted.
R1200RT-P's were done last year, April - May time, if my memory serves me well.

07 plate and yes Ihave had the letter, she's on her way in for the recall on the brake lines
