Bahnstormers are currently knocking £100 off the screen conversion to convert the screen on a standard GS to the dark tinted GSA screen, so it's now £350 including all labour (about 2 hours they reckon) and all mounts including the upper bar.:thumb

Has anyone done the screen conversion? Does it make much of a difference?:nenau

changed mine to an un-tinted GSA screen and yes it make's a hugh difference, make me feel like I'm riding a GSA:D

PS. mine only cost €120.00 second hand............ check out ebay

Took me about 1/2 hour to convert my old 1200GS screen to GSA...and i'm a mechanical numpty...:augie

Buy the bits and do it yourself (or get a numpty to do it for free):thumb

So without the 2 hours labour, the kit must cost £50...

My initial thought was to do it myself, so I'll price up the parts and probably do it myself.:thumb

Are they taking the pish, i sold my tinted GSA screen and winglets on this site last week and when the chap pulled up on his Black beauty i fitted it all taking roughly 20 mins max.

If the fitting is FOC ok, if not id fit it your self its very easy .

I've just spoken to Vines, and they have said the parts alone come to over £400, so it seems like a good offer from Bahnstormers after all.:nenau

Will have to get it booked in there then!:beerjug:

i just bought winglets from bmw , £57 which included £2.50 post, £350 for just screen and fitting bar doesnt sound cheap.

Isn't the £100 off because the standard clear plastic screen then becomes theirs as in a p/ex deal?
