The VTec is actually a very fine bike, albeit that the VTec system is totally unnecessary. It most certainly does corner. The fact that it didn't suit you is probably more down to you than the bike. How tall and what sort of weight are you?

Having owned both a VFR 750 and a 1150 GS it takes a big leap of faith to ride the GS because its so diffrent to any mainstream jap bike on the market, but the GS is one of the finest bikes around if you can get over the shock of owning the OLD MANS BIKE you wont regret it.

I do notice the power loss from my VFR but dont miss it the GS is better round corners, more comfy and much cheaper to run.

The final thing is that VFRs now look bland, one thing you could never say about a GS.

Hooray!

Well done SBB! You know it makes sense.

If you'd have sold the GS, you wouldn't have got as much as you thought, the VFR would've cost more in tyres and insurance, and you'd have had considerably less fun, and missed us tossers!

Seriously, I bet you've saved bugger all over the course of a year. Think of all those squared off BT020s due to the daily commute!

Anyway, you look cooler on a GS :D

Now we just need Metal Man in here pretending to laud it over us with his new GS12, when really he just misses the 'real GS' Adv he used to have :P
