When I still lived in Guernsey,I paid the sum of £210 for the reg 747 for my bike about 10 years ago. (Sad,I know,but it tied in with the day job at the time)

I sold the plate last year when I re-reg the bike over here on the mainland.Take a guess how much some prick paid for that number ??

Not sure you can compare an overpriced number plate to a new bike And yes, £1500 on panniers is also crazy, unless you're about to cross the world off road, hence the reason I'm getting varios
