GS911 Diagnostics

There have been a few GS911's sold recently, both on eBay and here. Stupid money I know, but I have a cunning stunt. There have been a couple of mechanical demo days where it might have been useful. Was it Greggers or Greg Masters, can't remember? Perhaps a few of us could club together and buy a GS911 and have shares. Keep it with someone centrally, and anyone who's got shares has free access, everyone else gets a discount rate. Anyone else think this idea has legs?

I can confirm that the GS911 does not repeat does not have any Legs.

Yaaa - great idea, but how would you fund it and who gets the job of keeping it (I'll volunteer ) ...

I think the ida of a 'pool-tool' can work, but it will always be hard to ensure fairness (how much are they anyway?) for the original investors and subsequent users ... Or, maybe have a word with someone who's got one already and waggle the wonga on a hire-per-use basis ...

I think its a great idea, Count me in V8legend.

It would need to be stored/transported in a case for group safety (my pence worth).

As Slowdown has pointed out we'd need above basic version.

You can upgrade it from consumer to Pro, I think. I'd find out how much that costs - it could save you a fair whack buying a consumer one second hand then upgrading to pro....

Is that 10 total? Or 10 at a time? I thought it just read fault codes and told you where to look, so I'm not entirely sure why it stores VIN's?

I would like to take you upon that offer of the use of GS911. Bought my r1200gs and would like to find out it's faults. Inlaws live in grantham so not far from them if we go visit.
