Hi all,
I have a 2012 GSA and it is due for a service next month.
Although they are less likely to be used at present I don't find the left hand heated grip to be very effective on either setting, although there is a difference between the two settings.
I know that the right hand is always warmer but I was wondering if I should get BMW to check the output of the heat for abnormalities compared to what is considered within spec.

Does anyone else have a similar experience or thoughts on this.

I have tried a search but it doesn't seem answer my question.

Many thanks in advance.

I had the 1100S and the left hand heated grips were always the first to go. Fairly easy to replace though.

Are you sure you have done a search?

Try an Advanced search in the 1200 Hexhead section using the term "Heated Grips". If your question is still unanswered reading through that lot then there is no answer and you'll have to bite the bullet and ask your dealer.
