gsa 1200 review from a 26 year old new owner / teething issues

Top man! :thumb

Sorry for the late response, the "subscribe to thread" option obviously isn't working too well for me.

Cracking looking bikes. I'd LOVE to get my hands on a decent LC, preferably an LC2 and relive my youth, but they're heading for silly money now.

Still keeping my eyes open though......

Trouble is, I wouldnt really know what I was looking at. I "may" need to just take the rose tinted glasses off and enjoy the memories instead. Well, that and enjoying my "new to me" 2015 LC :D

Nice little investment you've got there though. Thanks for sharing. :thumb

If you ever need any advice mate gimme a shout got 4 lcs on the go and a Harris tz 350 amongst other things

Bit of news on the gs front awaiting the date for a new engine and final drive to be fitted due to a few issues including corrosion

Looking forward to getting it done an then getting her back to put miles on it, guess my 1981 gsx 750 et just got promoted to number 1 spot for a bit as my main bike

If I had discovered this forum I would never had taken a chance on a new GS ,I have got to the point now that I am expecting something to go wrong !Having said that 1 year on and 6,000 trouble free miles and I love the GS.

I have owned a 2012 ZZR 1400 from new done 11500 miles ,4 trips to dealer for servicing,no corrosion, chain is not an issue and still on the original pads, gone through a few tyres mind.It can go months during the winter without being started but it fires up every time don't even put the battery on charge.BMW need to be careful it was the unreliabillity of British bikes in the 70s that was there demise and what made Jap bikes so popular

The highlands again in a couple of weeks let's hope I'm not on the edge of my seat for the whole trip !

I think alot of it must be production volumes who knows, totally agree though I was saying that to a friend of mine who works at a beemer shop, thing is doesn't matter with mag reviews if they don't mention reliability with the internet being available. Looking forward to trying the new engine yay
