I'm toying with the idea of fitting a GSA 'beak' cover on my standard 2011 GS. Does anyone know whether it's likely to bolt straight on with my standard BMW spotlight brackets?

Mine went straight on but I don't have spot lights...

Good luck

Andy

Hi, if you go on to the MAX BMW Motorcycles website, you can compare the part numbers of your bike with the numbers of older or newer bikes. If the part number is the same then the part is the same. There are also drawings which help. Alan

If you mean the 1150GSA black beak, yes it will fit as it only covers up front half of mudguard.lay it on mark your holes and drill away.

Got 2 bikes both 09 with factory spot lights and beak fitted no probs.Front end same as 2011 so easy fit

The black beak has an M5 bolt either side with a spring clip nut on the under frame.

It also rubs the paint so it's a one way fitment.

Thanks for the link to the piccie, Andy B. It shows me exactly how the thing looks fitted with the lamps. Not sure about the paint rub issue now though...Thanks all for the advice.
