The display is manufactured by Loewe, my success so far to contacting them in China has been "all enquiries must be through BMW" & of course they wont sell you the the needles..... complete display though... no problem

Wont give up though.

BTW did you paint three sides of the needles or just the upper face??
Did you consider spraying them to give a better finish

Painted all 3 sides, haven't got the "kit" to spray but I suppose it would probably look much better.
I just wonder what kind of plastic the actual needles transparent bits are made of, maybe I should have coated them with a primer or something.
But they're still "see-through"-ish which is good!

You should get a near perfect finish by dipping the needles in the paint.
