GSA handover date

Myself and BigD of this parish have been assured on numerous times that we are picking our GSA up from a West Yorks dealer on the 15th March,by there sales manger.
Then off to Tesco Express
Mts

That's not accurate. What you haven't heard is anyone in the UK receiving their new model 2014 1200 WC Adventure ahead of the official launch date. You might be the only person to do so, depending on your powers of persuasion. Fingers crossed.

Er ... yes it is. I don't know where you're getting 'ahead of the of the official launch date' from, the official launch date is 15 March, and my question was about handovers being pushing back to 17 March at the instruction of BMW GB.

Which dealer?

OP, the match is underway. You are batting and the bowling seems erratic at Headingley. A big innings looms or a duck.

6 pages in, and I'm wondering if the OP phoned BMW Customer Services with the link listed in the first page of the thread to discuss with them if it was a BMW or a Dealer policy about the handover date :)

That is a dealer that has their head up their arse and is not someone I would do business with.

Bentleys Toyota in Warrington - No Saturday Handover

Warrington Motor's (Fiat dealer) No Saturday Handover

My BMW Dealer for the bike was fine with the Saturday handover (after a chat informing them I can't get in during the week) , I was more concerned about being treated like a child / born again / typical WC owner with the "don't ever touch the TC button as immediate death will follow" during the handover.

As most of these bikes will go straight home and not poke their noses out 'till May, I really can't see what all the fuss over a few days is all about.

Still, look forward to picking one up in a years time with less than 2000 miles on clock when I might consider a change

24 hours and a bit... Or one more sleep, if you prefer.

The suspense is killing me.

Strange how Wapping is more interested in this than those actually buying the new toilet GSA

Perhaps he's getting bored with his barge of a K1600 :augie

Nutty is the most interested, frustrated and puzzled. He ain't buying one.

Me? I am just keen that matey gets to grips with the uncaring mega-group that is BMW, sorting out a serious customer concern and a clear lack of sympathy that has its roots in July of last year. Though he does seem to have heaped a few of his problems on his own head with his flitting in and out of the country like a will'o'the-wisp.

All sorted, in my favour :thumb

Great news! did you get the resolution with the intervention of BMW Customer Services, or just working it with the dealer? Will you have to kill me if you tell me? ;)

Direct with the dealer.

How many times have you posted on this thread, compared to me?:augie

My only question is why the GSA is being launched 6 weeks late in the UK (which is still unanswered).
