Dear all,

Does anyone know by how much the factory lowered suspension GS LC Adventure is lowered by? (bike not the seat).

Kind regards

Carl

Is it 50mm !

What I do no is it takes the height to stock gs wc height.

Measured between the bottom of the sump guard and a level floor it's about 20mm. However with the seat being located a little further back and closer to the rear shocker the seat height actually drops a bit lower probably around 25/30 mm.

I've owned both standard and factory lowered LC bikes.

30mm lower chassis either end. This comes from the handbook:-

Thanks all for clearing that us for me....the reason I was asking is that i have a normal hight GSA LC and although I can get one foot down with the other on the peg and being only 5ft 6 with 29"inside leg. I still find
it can be tricky at times what with dips and ruts in the roads...also its impossible to push back whilst mounted. So I was thinking about swapping her in for a factory lowered one.

cheers

I find the lowered bike is great, and all though called 'low' it is still about the same ride height as a standard GS.

See if you can get a ride on one and let us know what you think.

Same dimensions as me.
Mine is a GS with "seat height reduction" which is low seat, low chassis. Near as damn it both feet flat.

I am a similar inside leg dimension to you, I've got the GSA factory lowered suspension and can flat foot on the standard seat in the low position.
