The book states:

Tyre Pressures

One-up, tyre cold:-

32 psi (2.2 bar) 36 psi (2.5 bar)

Two-up and/or with luggage, tyre cold:

Loaded 36 psi (2.5 bar) 42 psi (2.9 bar)

Does anyone run anything different, especially One-up?

Thanks

I always run 36/42 solo (I'm 120kgs)
It works for me.

I believe that BMW now recommend 1 set of pressures regardless of rider/pillion/luggage. On current GS's it is 2.5 bar front and 2.9 bar rear.

I was advised by a Dunlop technician to run my tyres at the higher "two up" pressures to counteract "cupping" of the front tyre tread.

I run at the BMW recomended pressures both front and rear. Tyres are Battlax 020's and I see more flattening on the rear than I have with any other bike.
Im tempted to run the rear a few pounds up. The front seems to wear ok and even.

I would run 36 front and 42 rear and you won't go far wrong.

Do the check manually and don't rely on the TPS as they are often up to 5psi out. Your's may be correct of course but double check.

A few times a year they will scream that I have a flat tyre. Switch the bike off and on again and my tyres are magically back to normal pressures.

I run 36/42 but always get tread block cupping/chamfering on the front tyre
