The BM tank bag is great, it fits well and doesn't foul with anything... the big down side for me though is that the map pocket is completely flat and just reflects light up into your face I got around the problem by stuffing a sponge ball in the pocket to deflect the top, but it does mean you can't really read a map through it any more :-o

So true, the light reflecting on your face is unreal. It's a shame as I've found that the original GSA tank bag is awesome and that reflecting problem is my only gripe, looking at others I feel the price is not too unreasonable.

On my '13 GSW (not an Adventure) I have been very happy with a "tanklock" bag from Givi. This one is marketed as the " Xstream Range XS308 Tank Bag"...

Do you have any pics of it on the bike?

Go Baglux. Harness protects the tank and tank bag does the rest. Job done.

SW Motech or Givi for me. I buy more tank bags than my wife buys handbags.

My BMW Large on my 13 now my 15 GS is total garbage in quality, all the fabric on the bottom is frayed, the sipper and one of the clips broke.

I am currently digging on the 4 Litre Givi TPH02 for daily use. Amazing what you can fit in it and the top half has a large internal zippered net to hold items in the lid and you do not hit it when standing up. Also easier to stow in your top box when parking.
