+1 for the above. If you haven't ridden one yet, do so first. They are quite compact which may be an issue if you are on the taller side. And the standard suspension is shite, in my opinion anyhow.
Definitely have an extended ride, they're not the best.
I’ve ridden at least 5 different makes of bike without changing my name. JJHBest change the user name as well then. What about Steve90?

+1 on being very underwhelmed with the RnineT. Had one for a few hours as a courtesy bike and was pleased to give it back. Suppose ‘some’ of them look cool.

Bought a 21 model and loving it, no I’m not six feet tall and it’s got Wilbers suspension and upgrade tubeless spokes

Had a new v85 and found that top heavy, the r ninet seems much lighter although it isn’t
I had a 2017 urban GS for three years before I bought my KTM 1290.
I loved the bike and will probably buy another when I stop doing long distance touring.
Loved the air cooled DOHC engine and the looks etc.
However the bike’s front and rear suspension are truly woeful. Genuinely the only modern motorcycle I have ridden that absolutely necessitated changing/ upgrading both font and rear units.
Fortunately neither are a massive expenditure or buy a second hand bike that someone else has already upgraded. ( a lot have).
An upgraded seat also a worthwhile thing too.

I must say that I love my tt. Ticks nice few boxes for me. It just feels right. Not the fastest or biggest or whatever ist you like but I like the range the handeling and although some say the find it top heavy I just don’t. JJH
Given the choice of a V11 or even the fab V7 Stone or an R9T, I'd take the Guzzi every single time. They won't try to bounce you out of the seat or throw you into a hedge when you push on, unlike standard R9's with their dreadful factory suspension. Brakes are ok and the air cooled boxer lump pleasant and flexible but the Guzzi I find more comfortabe to ride, it holds the road far better and really suits that relaxed grunty engine. A V7 Stone "special" edition is on my list of possibilities as another I'd like to own at some point. I've always regarded the R9T range as little more than a styling exercise for the fashion conscious starbucks urbanite runs, but for real world every day riding and enjoyment, you have to invest quite a bit to improve them. May as well buy a GS which is better in every respect, or better still, an R1250R.
Fair comment Morety but so far I’m happy with my recently acquired r9t it fits me being 5’8 and it’s already got a Wilbers shock so I’ve never experienced the standard one, it’s a 21 model so has adjustable forks, cruise, 3 modes, heated grips and tubeless spokes
