i picked up the 1200 today crap weather,lovely bike though.What problems are there when fitting the crash bars,has anyone written a thread on fitting the bars.Any info please.

Yes lots about them. Fit only one side at a time is key tip no 1 and fit the small centre bar first is my tip. Otheriwse the small bolts aligning the centre bar can be hard to sort out.
Keep all other bolts loose until everythings alighned EXCEPT the one tight subframe bolt....one must always be tight.
Theres some v detailed instructions somewhere but I think they are for 1150 which seems more involved. A search on www.advrider.com will give more info, theres some good instructions there as well. I meant to bookmark but forgot.
