Has anyone fitted a h4 bi-xenon kit to the 1100gs

lookin at the h4 bulb, its longer than the halogen bulb. magnet on the back

the standard light holder wont fit over the hid bulb , the coils on the spring wont fit over the fekin bulb...

and before i start cutting holes will the bulb fit in my light housing , it looks very tight:thedummy

wen ive all the information ill fit the kit..no point cutin a prefect good headlight housing up for nothing if there is another method .....:augie

are all h4 hid bulbs the same length? ie universal...

it says plug and play...."my arse"....:spitfire

before i get "should of gone to speck savers or less wassal":D

id appreciate any useful info

I've looked in to H4 HID conversions for my SE, been told that you need 25-30mm of clearance behind the bulb holder to house the solenoid. If you've got a rubber or plastic cover fitted, you will probably need to cut or drill a hole through it to allow the bulb to protrude through.

I've only fitted H1 kits in the past but it can't be that different?

it looks like where the bulb fits its just behind the light adjuster..ie if this is cut, ill loose my vertical adjustment:blast

it aint gona be as easy as standard fillament bulbs..

I fitted Les's to mine no problems UGG.... The connector has to go outside and I didnt use the spring to hodl the bulb in as it twists and stays firmly in place. The bolt for the adjuster needs to be trimmed however it will fit fine. The adjuster includng the UGG limited Edition adjusting collar works fine :thumb2

Route everything outside and the bulb fits fine..... The switch from main to dip and visa versa is faster than normal bulbs and the difference superb! Need any help let me know as Ive done mine.
The ONLY part I trmmed was the bolt nothing else and no extra holes etc
