Hey zerocool,

Picked up a set of these a couple of weeks ago (phil, picked them up from your house). Only done the dipped so far but it’s made a huge difference to night riding! Not had any issues from on-coming traffic either.

Top mod for the money

Cheers

There is no filament in a HID bulb so their life expectancy is huge!!!

Far greater life expectance than a normal bulb, far brighter than a normal bulb and uses less power than a normal bulb. Fantastic eh?

:aidan

The ballasts are the issue. Switch on/off cycle is 1,500 for the slim. Given how the light is turned on/off on igntion start on bikes you can see how this adds up. Mine failed after a year and I now use a standard for the dipped.

Also for 12 owners, the normal and one slim fit perfectly under the screen, tie wrapped under the big silver in the middle. :thumb2

Im pretty sure thats not the case, mine have been on my GS for considerably longer than 1,500 cycles.

Stocks are just due to arrive in the next few days. :)

Ordered & Paid yesterday, rcvd today, fitted this evening, test ride complete in rain and mist, all working fine on 1200gs with canbus.

Definitely a worthwhile upgrade and thanks zerocool for the speedy service.

Hi Denis,
Trying to PM you but it's saying your mailbox is full. Tonight, Friday, would be best; could you PM me your address or where you would like to meet.
Cheers,
Mick

There is a full warranty with our kits also. This does not include damage/misuse as im sure Les' doesnt either.

Had some good news today.... the kits are going to be a little cheaper too. :)

£100 for H1 and H7 kits or £60 for a half kit.

£125 for H4 which is the single bulb high low kit with full wiring harness which cannot be split as its designed for cars.
