Great thanks. I can't remember what or where or what company I had read anything over 125cc not covered or something like that.

I’ll have a look when I’m off.

Mine gives me euro breakdown, travel with winter sports, mobile phone cover. 15 a month so about 180 a year all in.

Changed from Lloyds as they don’t cover Europe

the Nationwide bundle is fine.

The 125cc limit is on some insurers' travel policy. Not on the Nationwide one though.

Breakdown cover is with the AA and has no cc limit. 3500kg limit for cars/vans unless a motorhome when it is 7500kg. Some length & width limits as well.

The travel policy is with Aviva. Riding a motorcycle is covered on road, any cc, as long as you wear a helmet.

It's a good bundle even at the new price of £18 a month, £216 a year especially as you are a couple as you get family cover. The only reason I have not got it is that they charge extra for medical conditions which makes it too expensive for me compared to separate policies.

They must think your fucking stupid!!!!!!!!!

I got my breakdown insurance, sorry, cover renewal offer today

Increased costs, fuel etc , so up from £194, to £254 so a 30% increase for doing nothing

so i went online to do a new quote , quote, cant you tell its insurance now, with all the little add on's after the initial offer , grrr

and a fucking £55 arrangement fee, say what, £55 fucking quid for doing your fucking job, that's £18 for 3 pieces of paper.

So i thought I'd see what a new customer would be charged

£130, so they think bumping my costs £124 is acceptable,

And the competition is just as bad, they want your date of birth , when you start the ball rolling what the fuck for!!!!

What for, is they charge you more for being a younger car owner,

And let me guess, there's probably a fucking algorithm behind it too

Guess who's going to get Victor Meldrew call tomorrow

I cancelled my AA membership in September last year, had been with them around 20 years.
I got sick of the game every year where they send a bullshit renewal and i have to contact them to beg for a better deal.

So this time I rang and said just cancel it, I am sick of this shit every year its ridiculous.
I added breakdown to my insurance with RAC for £35 when I used Compare the Market... fuck em.

They give you all that shit on the phone, oh you will lose all your benefits of your gold membership.
I said I've never used either the benefits or even your services, in all the time I've been with you as I've never broken down!
I should be getting a discount, as a customer that properly maintains his vehicles.

Auto-renew is the bane of my life.
As is the direct debit, which once signed means they can take as much as they want, when they want.
If the fee is £35 a month then that's all the bank should let them have. If it changes then they should need my permission.
SKY TV are infamous for this, you start with £50 for everything and a year later its trebled in price... cnuts (cancelled them too)

I always tell them to not auto renew.

Robbing bastards………

Although my Aviva car ins went down 10 quid this year and they couldn’t be beaten by ‘compare the market’ so fairs fair

I paid £83 to Green Flag for personal cover (any vehicle) includes roadside, at home and nationwide recovery. I had previously used GEM, but their renewal was £96 for equivalent cover.

Same here, autorenew price doubled, so I said cancel it - quick discussion and it ended up less than last year - they just try it on.

RAC Cover Renewal this year £ 196.99

Phoned to Cancel

Renewed at £ 119.99

(which is good for me as it gives me Roadside Recovery for any vehicle, providing I'm in it)

I find Brittania is good. I have full personal cover in both UK And Europe . Paid about £120
