Hall Effect TPS

on the Hall sensor - yesterday spoke again with my control tech neighbour (I showed him the picture I grabbed off the video posted earlier)

oh yes, that's the right way to do it - very simple let me show you this I was playing with
- here its got the same chip, I paid £2 for it, then you need a simple board to turn it into voltages
- the only difficulty is locating the chip securely above a magnet you put on the end of the throttle spindle
- because its a four gate chip they can actually cope well with a worn spindle and some misalignment - as it doesn't impact how it sees the world
- it won't make it run differently, but it'll give more consistent info, be more reliable and won't wear out
- you'll still need to reset (and rebuild) the adaptions to get it to behave properly
