I seem to remember recently someone on here being from Halliwell Jones ? or am I mistaken.... I m looking at a couple of bikes at their site and I'd like a little information..... just asking ! TIA....

Shinyface..............

said person is in the workshop, which I believe is on a separate site so may not know that much about sales nor have regular contact with the sales staff

I used to work there until recently.

And I would never work there, or have anything to do with them again.

I've had dealings with sales and service, I wouldn't deal with sales not a nice experience, the person I was dealing with just looked on his computer and gave me a px price £2000 less than 2 other dealers, didn't even look at my bike. Service department was a nightmare, but I have a person there now I trust, but Ted (MotoRevive) Is going mobile so it will save me any hassle in future.

I had dealings with sales and the salesman was a jumped up pr1ck, he must have been blind or just full of shite, round trip of 260 miles waisted because there lies, calls not returned head of business doesn't give a toss.

They're a huge multi site car dealership who only recently took on bikes to bump up their already astronomical profits.

In my opinion, the company doesn't give a shit about bikes or bikers. They certainly don't fund or equip their workshop to BMW standards they treat their employees abismally. Although everything looks shiny and professional from the outside.

From my experience, the service staff are all disgruntled, overworked and on close to minimal wage. Even though the company makes an average est. £20,000,000 in profit.

The usual story of corporate greed, wage theft and exploitation. Investment is all funnelled into sales, fancy waiting areas and marketing.

They struggle to find anyone to work in their workshop. And it is my opinion that is the reason. They're a pariah in the community of motorcycle techs in the NW.

Customers pay some of the highest rates for labour and parts and they could well be having their bike worked on my a completely inexperienced and unsupervised apprentice.

It doesn't take much Social media research to find horror story after horror story.

I left not only because I was misled into joining In the first place, but because I didn't want my reputation to be muddied by theirs.
