Adam, Thanks for organising a super day out, and pass on my thanks to Lisa as well. The roads were great, and the weather excellent and notn of the phesants ended up in my spokes. Only one complaint, the small burger I ordered at the Portrmouth View Burger van was not small, it was enormous, but it went down very well.

I have only ever had a cuppa and a small bacon butty up there before, and as I was hungry I made the mistake of ordering a large cheeseburger.
A third of it went in the bin cos I couldn't manage it all.

I'm really sad I missed the ride on Sunday - I didnt think of looking on-line - DOH !
Can I ask what software you used to map out the route ?
It looks a great ride and I'd love to do it one sunny weekend.

It's just a screen shot of mapsource chap.
Proposed and actual routes attached below.
If you don't have mapsource there are plenty of sites or downloads that will convert it to a google map or autoroute/similar.

Thank you sooo much for taking the time to post the actual/planned mapsource routes.
I'm getting a garmin zumo this month - so I'll plug the route in and enjoy !!

hi pinktiff, spent weekend with my slovakian girlfriend in bed () as im off to the states on the 13th for three weeks. so had hard desision, bed + gf + getting dirty, or out countryside and dirty. bed won.
