Can any of you tossers suggest a pair of handle bar risers
I think the bars need to come up and back

I've literally just been in the garage fitting mine. Got them from Jaws motorcycle accessories (thanks to the tip from Mr Mark Shelly on here ) I'm pretty sure there were some for the 1200 as well. Superb price. If the dimensions work, then you can't go wrong.

I have though fitted it all and decided I need a longer brake line to make it all work properly. So it's all been put back as it was, until I get the longer brake line! So keep in mind you might have to re-route/lengthen some of the cables etc.

I've just ordered a set of Rox Risers for my LC so the set off of my R1200R which have same bar sized as your GSA are available £55 delivered mainland UK of you're interested.

Rox for me, the anti vibe ones. Expensive but they work and no mods to cables apart from taking throttle cable under the bar instead of over..........sorted.

Rox risers for me anti-vibe ones worked a treat on last bike although newer model 2012 bike didnt need them.

Why is that? has the 12 already got some on or are you saying they're less vibey?? Can anyone tell me if the LC GS is less vibey than my 07?? I guess I need to ride one!!

My thoughts are that this 2012 bike albeit with the same engine as my 2011 bike is simply setup better and so less vibey. Saying that I had the 2011 bike setup by a respected BMW mechanic but even after that it was still not the same as my 2012 GSA.

The 2011 bike had 6k on it when I got it and 15k when I sold it and it felt the same the entire time I owned it. The 2012 bike had 2k on it and is now at 7k and its remained nice and smooth.

So afraid I can't give a full explanation all I can say the two bikes are different, hopefully the new one continues to be vibe free. I must say with the Rox anti-vibe risers the bike was fine I didn't get any white finger with them fitted. Without them I was able to last maybe 50 to 100 miles before it would start. New bike no risers and never have an issue even after 300miles in the saddle.

I bought Jaws risers a few years ago for 04-07 GS and found they are designed and made in such a way that they do not clamp correctly. Jaws gave a full refund.
