as per title! Anyone interested? I'm thinking pogo ride, but big bikes should be ok as it's been dry for quite a while now. I don't currently have a route in mind yet so things are flexible at the minute.

I'm a possibility - pending a pass from the Mrs. Where's the start?

P.S. - on a big bike with Tourances

Count me in - full day pass !

Is this the first warm up ride for the epic round the plain ride due in the summer...

Cheers

Probably start either andover or winchester. I'm waiting to see what numbers are and bike type etc. I've only just got back to work after i damaged my back, so i'm not planning anything to extreme, might even look at a few lanes further north than i normally go, but i.ll make a decision at the weekend

Hi Nathan,
Hope the backs feeling better.Just a thought re the route - we could go up and over comb gibbet, with it being so dry recently the big bikes should make it across.Theres a few ruts but it should be ok.We could then work across towards marlbourgh then drop onto the top of the plain.

That said the route you took us on last time was superb and I would really look forward to tackaling it again and finding the off road route back to sunny Andover.

Sold the 610 so I will be on the 450 again.

Cheers

Just checked weather forcast- looks like rain all day today, rain tommorrow lunchtime, and dry all day monday! :bounce1:bounce1

For knobblies it should be ideal- looks like enough rain to keep the dust down, but it could make it very slippery in places.

Probably looking at starting out from the shell garage by the portway industrial estate in andover.

If you need to park a van or car and trailer*, you should be able to find somewhere on the industrial estate:

Meet 9.30-10.00.

As for route? we'll try and few lanes, see how it goes, and decide from there. :thumb2

Jay, Slowdown, you have PM's

Nathan

*disclaimer: you park at your own risk- i can't vouch for the security.

No worries - was looking forward to that 950 giving it some !! Nathan warned me about the roost from the back wheel when it gets going.

Nathan,
Another superb ride - Thanks.
We coverd almost 100 miles all at a pretty good pace, the ground was very hard so feeling it a bit now !!
I thought the launch of your exhaust pipe was going to be the start of an eventful ride out, lucky for that spare washer.I think luck was on our side in loseing the wallet then going back to find it with all the cash still in it !

Bakerman ,Thanks for the tea at both ends of the day and the use of the jetwash.

Had a great day out in the Hants/Wilts Countryside with some good company.Very impresssed you even laid on the brolley girl...

not quite sure what happened with the exhaust :augie

Glad you had a good ride. I've asked Touratech to develop a tongue catcher for the perverts for next time out.
