You make it look easy Mike, you need to get lots of tools and manuals spread out, otherwise they'll all be having a go

I’ll admit,doing a service is a bit of a bore,
But with the old bikes there are always going to be things that will be a bit more of a challenge,
With this one,there were a few rounded out bolts,a couple have snapped off,
Then there are the rose nuts that will need a bit more care so I can hopefully salvage the threads on the cylinder heads.
The bit I enjoy most is the rebuild ,all of the hours of labour cleaning and prepping coming together.

Careful cut with a slitting disc top and bottom,
Split with a chisel.

Interesting baffle in the sump baseplate Mike, not seen one of those before
I thought that too.
Also interesting to see how much oil would NOT drain from the sump if the bike was level when the drain plug’s removed.

Dry media blasting,followed by aquablast/wet blast
