Happy chappy day.

You make it look easy Mike, you need to get lots of tools and manuals spread out, otherwise they'll all be having a go 😄
👍

Mind if I ask Mikey, do you still enjoy working on any and every bike…or does it take something interesting like this to get your enthusiasm up and running ? Always enjoy your threads when you do a build, the attention to detail is top drawer.

I’ll admit,doing a service is a bit of a bore,
But with the old bikes there are always going to be things that will be a bit more of a challenge,
With this one, there were a few rounded out bolts,a couple have snapped off,
Then there are the rose nuts that will need a bit more care so I can hopefully salvage the threads on the cylinder heads.
The bit I enjoy most is the rebuild ,all of the hours of labour cleaning and prepping coming together.😎

I could do all that, putting it back together, not so much, lol. :nenau

Good to see how its done though.

Interesting baffle in the sump baseplate Mike, not seen one of those before
I thought that too.

Also interesting to see how much oil would NOT drain from the sump if the bike was level when the drain plug’s removed.

Great thread, as usual!

Great thread, I am going to buy one of these airheads from you one day hopefully.

What's the cleaning process to get that front engine cover so clean?

Mikey if I burn my shed down just want you to know I hold you totally responsible so keep that in mind chum as you rebuild this bike!!!
