I yer Keen Sir .I met Neil through a friend a couple of years ago ,has he still got the Bandit.And yes thats the fellow and his misses,notice I left oot the Auld,Good crack there when ever i stop at the lochside drumup.

No shair whit Neil's got the noo he had a Suzuli 650 - whit ye ca' they trailly things - he had it on a rear paddock stand when it fell oor and in the attempt at keepin' it up it broke his lig. Then he wis knocked aff his pushbike an wis sair din tae. Since then (18months) he's no worked,an winnae.
The lad wi' the R80 that wis Bill Donaldson and Cathy frae Sauchie (no the chap frae Stanley). He retired aboot three years ago ,still has the R80 but sold his VERY nice R50. He wis a dab haund at fabricatin' wi' stainless steel (should hae seen his R50,wow).They didnna' gan aboot sae much - mainly to the Calvine spot
 
Aye Neil had the suzuki which fell on him ,my mate fae Mickey Oates sold him the bike ,thats how I was introduced to him,followed him down fae Ullapool a couple of years ago ,he was on 1200 bandit It was a good day.Thats the very chap with the stainless ,he gave me the speil about his creations ,I was on a R80 same as his was all over it.I theyre the real deal these guys and gals.

I thats a belter ,they done some weird paintjobs in them days.A miss a airhead ,a had some fun on they auld beasts,me and my mate had identical black R80 s,we got years of pleasure out of them then he got a R1150 r and messed up the chemistry ,so i went and got the GS and sold my old R80 to a old friend (he went to The Island on it this year) .

Just up and off to the "Loony Dook" to support my boy as he goes for a swim in the Firth of Forth, between the 2 Forth Bridges. Bloody mad if you ask me.
