Chaps and Chapesses,

I've purchased a Touratech Hardpart second hand and was wondering (there were no instructions supplied) :-

a) are there any ? (or is it that simple!)

b) is there anything that I should be aware of when fitting it ?

Thanks in anticipation

Nigel

Bolt it on and go :)

If your German is any good, there is a little manual on the German TT shop site > BMW > R1100GS, R1150GS & Adventure > Hard Part

Cheers,
Michel

I can fax you my instructions, I think I still have them somewhere.

Only the 1100 has a Hard Part near the footrest / swingarm pivot, 1150's were redesigned, so not needed.

Steve,

that would be very kind of you

Cheers

Touratech USA site has lots of the instructions translated

Many thanks for the responses chaps

That'll be my job for the weekend.

I have lost my instructions for the Hard Part - apologies!

It's easy to fit, the Telelever is sandwiched between the two hard part plates. It pretty only fits in the correct position.

Before you fit it, ensure that the Telelever steering nut at the front of the arm is correctly torqued up. Once fitted, trim the sides from the steering nut's black plastic cover so that it does not foul the hard parts top plate.
