Thinking Boston spa roundabout, is that big un under the A1, just out side boston spa, think there,s a weigh bridge in the middle of it...Am I right..

Yep--that is the roundabout planned--see you approx 8.30ish----you can have a lay in on Monday to make up for this early start (Bank Holiday)

You know it will be worth it as you are spending a day with us wonderful folk.

there seems to be a bit of confusion for Sunday start 1 squires 8.00 2 then on to otley river side cafe 8.30ish/3 Bolton bridge 9.15ish 4 then on to kettle well meet up in car park near cafe 10.10.30 group hug . then onto buckden.hubberholme hawes Kendal.( :beer jug: hardknott) as i have not done a trip like this before any ideas on sone twisty bits from kettleful would be appreciated . i do hope this clears the situation. see you on the way if not at kettlewell lets hope we have a dry ride :

I've just got up, I've got a couple of jobs to do on the bike so I won't be able to make Squires at 8.00.

Top Day

Just got back and had a well needed bath and beer.....I'm knackered after my 6.30am wake up call !!

Big Thanks to Stan and Neil for all todays efforts and also big thanks to David (Spagforth) for showing me the way to Thirsk from the Lakes over some excellent twisty bits

Unfortunately on our way home Ali came off her bike at the bottom of the road up to Hartside due to the crap road surface. She's ok but a little shaken...the bike is a little scuffed, but bikes are easier to repair than broken bones. Don't worry about it Ali..we've all done it, and by the way when I was behind you after Sedburgh, you were riding the twistys like a star .Hope to see you back on the bike soon.

Looking forward to the next one.

So we too have got back, knackered and in need of a cuppa
Big thanks to David (spagforth) for Kirkstone pass and Ullswater...it was breath taking
Just took a very steady ride back after Hartside..sorry Andy n David if it spoilt your day, also for the steady ride back
Pleased to say Ally is OK...bit sore and annoyed with her self
It could have been a lot worse...at least she walked away AND could ride the bike home..(tough little buggeres them 650s)
After we both thought about it the consenses was a combination of a crap road surface sprinkled with a dollop of pilot error
