Thought about it but as you say, pricey. What about Jekyl and Hyde exhaust, best of both worlds for the sound? Pricey mind.

I changed my stock shocks to Progressive 422’s and the fork inserts Progressive too. Ride just seems firmer, but not massive difference. My stock shocks had been blasted by rocks - so cosmetic upgrade too. Chrome ones easier to cleanSo a quick update… finally got the forwards on (been a bit delayed because I’ve been building a log cabin to house a couple of bikes). A lot more comfortable, although I have to bend my leg round the filter to use the back brake, but I can live with that for the time being. Incidentally, do the 117 filters need a rain sock?
A couple of observations - my main bike is a Triumph Scrambler 1200xc. Ironically the suspension on the Harley copes with the bomb craters on our local roads better than the Scrambler. It also has better fueling.
I haven’t had time to get a decent length ride in so the jury is still out, but hopefully that will happen in the next couple of weeks.
………..think you need 465’s for your bike, but I’d be reluctant to change if honest. Think Harley ones are fine and not really what your bike is all about

You have a RKS - totally differentMaybe I should have carried a couple of bags of sand as ballast then the suspension might have been ok.![]()
Mine too, Ohlins HD 772’s (from EBay Italy) transformed it. The Softail I had was much much better though, and as Twizz says was easily adjustable.Stock suspension on my RKS was utter shite

I don't have bar risers from them but have had stuff from them. Very popular in the US as is there youtube channel.Quick update. Harley forward controls fitted. Improvement, but even with a 34” inside leg I was struggling to curl myself round the air filter to use the back brake - not impossible, just uncomfortable. So on went an S&S teardrop filter - big improvement. To stop my toes waving around in the breeze I ordered a pair of Crossthread mini floorboards - another improvement. However, I’m still getting lower back discomfort and I think it’s the stretch to the bars. I watch a lot of Thrashin’ Supply videos and I’m starting to see why they all use pull back risers. Or maybe I just need to man up and put a few more miles on it to get my body used to it.
Anyway, here’s the state of play so far:

I've got a set of 14" black meathook style ones that I wouldn't mind parting with. You would have to check your clamp size though as these are 1 1/4 inch. (Cue Doris who laughs at anything less than 16"!!)

It's a lovely thing. £360 from ARH Customs.Love that S&S Teardrop
Where did you get it from and how little did you have to pay for it ?![]()
Thanks for the offer but I'm going to try changing the seat first, followed by higher risers with a pullback if necessary. I thought I spent a lot on my Scrambler getting it right for me but this is another level. I've even considered trading it in against a RKS or a glide, but there's a good bike in there so I'm not quite ready to give up yet.I've got a set of 14" black meathook style ones that I wouldn't mind parting with.
