Hi,
I recently changed the battery on a friends 1100.
After connecting the bat back up, the ABS warning lights will not go out after riding the bike. I suspect that I have done somthing to the ABS system while changing the Battery. My friend did connect a charger to the battery while it was still connected:eek:, could this be the problem?

I would be greatful if anyone knows of any fixes that can be done at home or is it fried?
I haven't tried anything yet as I don't want to make it worse, cos he's bigger than me!:(

Thanks,
Jim

I've read about this before. I don't know the fix but I think you just need to reset it somehow. Do a search I'm sure it's on here somewhere. HTH

The search function ...

oblertone's got the right answer in his link. You often must re-set the ABS after a battery change.

Good luck.
