Easiest way to change the head stock bearings on an airhead

I just bevelled the edge of a 30mm washer, fitted it on the end of some threaded bar, lodged it in the minimal groove between the bearing and the headstock and tapped it out. Seemed very simple to me.

me , i've got a split collet internal bearing puller.

and the easiest way is .....get someone else to do it.
