Headlamp again!

Does anyone know why the GS12 head lamp only lasts 3-4k miles?
Is it bad voltage, bad vibration or just bad luck. I have never had a vehicle that has this problem before

some have this problem and some like me don't.

i'm at 9500 miles and still the original bulb.

10k on original, replaced while it was still working with Lidl specials (£3.99 for two) and they're fien another 4k later.

Mine has just gone 7000miles.

It blew as soon as I started the bike, perhaps a surge as you hit the starter?

Easy enough to replace though.

First lamp @ 15.000 kms. now 30.000 and OK

you think changing the bulb on the beemer is bad................you wanna try changing it on a transalp.............i have never know such a barstool of a thing to do...........its near impossible for people with normal sized hands........both me hands were black and blue by the time i had finally got the clip back in...............and i completely spat the dummie out when i couldn't get the rubber seal back in place...........
